how we do business

We start with the initial estimate which is usually verbal if the job is less than $200 and written if over $200.

When a written estimate is given you will be asked how detailed you want it.  A simple TIME AND MATERIALS estimate saves a great deal of time but we believe in communication and customer satisfaction. Upon request, a detailed estimate will include the expected amount of hours or days in addition to each and every material expected to be used. Each material will also include price/item, expected quantity and the total price for the estimated amount of materials and the total price estimated for the job.

 All estimates are given for what is visible or for what is expected only. All too many times do we find that once we get a wall opened or the visible wood rot removed that there is more damage then was visible from the outside. Most often this is not too much of a setback but in the event that the time or materials are significantly increased the home owner is immediately notified of the status before any more work is done.

Once the job is done you will receive an Invoice which will include the total cost for labor and the total cost for materials. A copy of all of the receipts for all materials purchased so that you always know where your money is going.
